Exfoliation Skin Care Services that Can Benefit You!

Dec 13, 2021 | Skincare

What skincare concern do you have at this moment? Dryness, age spots, acne? A majority of general skincare concerns can be resolved simply by exfoliating on a regular basis.

There are 2 types of Exfoliation: Manual and Chemical

  • Manual exfoliation involves manually exfoliating dead skin off with a scrub or using a small blade in a dermaplanning service.
  • Chemical exfoliation involves using products that contain AHAs and BHAs (alpha hydroxy acids and beta hydroxy acids) that penetrate the skin cells to chemically disintegrate the bonds between the cells, allowing the cells to separate and shed, making room for younger and healthier skin. Chemical exfoliation can happen during chemical peels, but the best way to chemically exfoliate is by purchasing skincare products that contain AHAs and BHAs, or what we like to call “Active ingredients”
Active Ingredients include Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid, Salycylic Acid, and Retinol.

How Often Should I Exfoliate?

Depending on your skin care goals and budget, I suggest receiving a professional exfoliation service every 2-3 months. If you have progressive skincare goals, I suggest doing a series of exfoliations. The services I provide include:

  1. Facials
  2. Chemical Peels
  3. Dermaplanning

Join my seasonal membership program! Buy a 4 pack and save $15 off of each service (services must be used within 6 months).
